Maidstone County gets a new unmanned weighbridge
Libra supplied Maidstone County Council in Kent, with a new steel/concrete Double Life weighbridge and unmanned system. It is being used for their Waste Transfer Station facility. The weighing process is completely automated, the drivers simply drive onto the weighbridge, swipe their tags over the transponder and drive off, on command from the unit. This speeds up the weighing process to under 15 seconds, ensuring a smooth, reliable and accurate weighing process. All the information is sent directly to the PC for inclusion of the weights and ID for processing, Invoicing and ticketing.
